Alpaca Gala Events and Directions
To celebrate National Alpaca Farm Day,
the Southwestern Ohio Alpaca Community would like to invite everyone to the 3rd
annual Alpaca Gala which is sure to be a day of family fun. Six participating
farms will gather together bringing a variety of suri and huacaya alpacas all in
one location. Our schedule of events includes spinning, felting, weaving and
looming demonstrations. Handmade alpaca products such as sweaters, gloves,
socks, hats, scarves, yarn and much much more will be available to purchase
(great gift ideas especially with the holiday approaching!) Raffle tickets will
be for sale to win an awesome handmade luxurious alpaca throw. Door prizes will
be given away throughout the day. Food and refreshments will be available. For
those interested, feel free to attend one of our seminars at 1&3pm to learn
about alpacas and the many uses of their soft, luxurious fiber. Added this year
for the kids - obstacle course demonstrations on the hour. Also new this year, a
pen sale of both pet and show quality animals with a variety of prices to meet
everyone's budget. Have alpaca questions?? Not to worry - there will be many
knowledgeable people available. We would love the opportunity to introduce you
